Brand Manager

Currently seeking a contract Brand Manager. 

The Brand Manager to is responsible for working with the Global Marketing team in developing and implementing Peak brand strategies and plans to promote brand growth and expansion with appropriate measurements to deliver a positive ROI. The Brand Manager will maintain brand integrity across all marketing initiatives and communications to ensure that Peak remains differentiated from competitors and aligned largely to Business to Business (B2B) customer needs.

The Brand Manager will have strong experience in new product development and commercialization, with a dedicated passion for process and timely delivery of results. The role will be integral in linking stakeholders to deliver on agreed plans, with a focus on brand building, B2B engagement and lead generation. A key responsibility will be to work with the global Marketing team to ensure that the Peak plan is implemented and aligned with the global marketing strategy.

  • Support the Product Development team by developing and implementing a New Product Development (NPD) process to enhance the end-to-end product management process.
  • Develop local marketing activation plan to identify and generate leads.
  • Manage and execute trade marketing events, sponsorships and conferences including associated logistics, such as venue hire, promotional stands, ensuring all events have defined success measurements.
  • Collaborate with Global Marketing to develop and execute brand communication campaigns, using targeted content and media channels to build brand awareness, credibility and ultimately drive lead generation.
  • Lead and manage the communication process for new agreement announcements and communications, collaborating with key Peak stakeholders and informing AGH stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Develop, source, and implement the digital and social media content plans.
  • Act as the brand custodian for all Peak in-house brands.
  • Create sales and marketing materials to support promotion/education for all lead generation activities, ‘customer branded’ and/or Peak branded products sell-in to provincial boards and 3rd Party Distributor field sales force.
  • Develop and maintain market data and analysis to quantify segment sizes and addressable market opportunities.
  • Regularly conduct and report on competitor activities to ensure Peak remains differentiated in market to deliver upon the company objectives.
  • Support global marketing to engage local agencies where required
  • Effectively manage and deploy allocated budgets to maximize return on investment.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders both domestically and internationally to ensure that the Peak global strategy is implemented and executed within the global guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ Years of experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG).
  • Solid understanding of Marketing strategy and brand building principals
  • Strong project management experience on brand and campaign management
  • Degree qualified in Business or Marketing Communications.
  • Strong working experience and understanding of Digital & Social Media principals
  • Solid analytical skills
